It will grow 3 to 4 feet tall and may eventually reach 10 feet if not pruned and will spread 6 to 8 feet wide. It has much smaller leaves than the common laurel. If left unpruned it will have attractive upright spikes of fragrant flowers in spring.<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div>Easily-grown dwarf evergreen shrub<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Attractive glossy leaves are small and evergreen<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Grows well in any conditions, including urban areas<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Can be clipped into hedges and screens<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Drought, shade, and deer resistant<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>Plant in a sunny or shady spot, in any kind of soil. It will grow most rapidly in richer, moist soil.\u00a0 It is very drought resistant.
