Blanket Flower – Gallardia

Blanket Flowers are valuable in the summer border for their very long season of bloom. They form a low mound of light-green leaves, bearing upright stems of large daisy-type flowers. This very compact selection has flat, serrated, red petals. Attractive to butterflies. Drought tolerant once established. Heat tolerant and actually prefer poorer soils. Removing faded flowers will encourage constant blooming.
